Dec 13, Colombo: Sri Lanka Cricket has picked the 30-man preliminary squad for the ICC World Cup 2011.
The preliminary squad includes veterans Sanath Jayasuriya and Chaminda Vaas along with the new talent Suranga Lakmal and uncapped Nuwan Pradeep.
A statement by Sri Lanka Cricket said the final 15-member squad will be announced on January 19, 2011 a month before the start of the World Cup.
The World Cup 2011 will be hosted by Sri Lanka, India, and Bangladesh from February 19 � April 2, nest year.
