President Mahinda Rajapaksa will open the new swimming pool of the Sri Jayawardenapura University on Monday - tomorrow at 4 p.m. at the university premises.
Hambantota District MP Namal Rajapaksa's "Tarunnayata Hetak" initiated the swimming pool project on the request of "Vidudaya Adividyarthin Alumanai Society".
The swimming pool which cost Rs. 80 million was provided for in the original 'Vidyodaya University Plan' of its founder Vice Chancellor Welivitiye Soratha Maha Nayaka Thera.
